Uryuu Ishida Action Figure

Finally got around to taking some decent pictures of this guy.

This is a custom 8" action figure of Uryuu Ishida from Bleach. In addition to being my favorite Bleach character, I thought it'd be fun to make a cloth clothed action figure of perhaps anime's most avid sewer. I suspect he would be most horrified to know that the material used for most of his clothing came out of a box of painters rags. XD

The base articulated body was manufactured by my boss, Dr. Mego. Everything else was sculpted, sewn and painted by me.

The base body is a bit buff for a character like Uryuu, (it was originally designed for American style super heroes.) My boss has always said that he'd like to have a leaner Teen Titans style body tooled and that anime figures would be a good excuse to do that.

Of course, that would only happen if we got a license for it. ^_^
